The HC-SR04 Ultrasonic Range Finder is a highly popular sensor designed for precise distance measurement and object detection. Equipped with an ultrasonic transmitter and receiver, it uses sonar to accurately determine distances, similar to the echolocation method used by bats and dolphins. This module features a transmitter, receiver, and control circuit in a compact package, providing stable and reliable readings unaffected by sunlight or dark materials.

With a theoretical measuring distance of 2cm to 450cm and a practical measuring range of 2cm to 80cm, this sensor is perfect for a wide range of applications. The HC-SR04 offers excellent accuracy, up to 3mm, and a measuring angle of less than 15°. It operates at a voltage of +5V and a current of less than 15mA.
